If you come to the Bemidji area during the summer months, you are sure to
find me, Rod Schwarzrock, out on the lake. I have fished Lake Bemidji for twenty years
and I have been guiding for ten of those. My goal as an experienced guide is
to provide you with a fun and safe learning experience.

I am currently a local teacher at the Bemidji Middle School and I've become quite prolific at transferring
my teaching experience to the lake. Along with guiding local people and tourists,
I have also been involved in multiple fishing activities on a volunteer basis. I am
currently involved with Take a Kid Fishing,
Fishing Has No Boundaries
, and
Camp Courage.
All of these experiences have helped me to become an expert at fishing techniques,
baits to use, and the necessary safety procedures. I know the areas' ins
and outs and would love to share my knowledge with you in a fun and safe
environment.

Even though I consider my specialty to be walleye fishing, you can also expect to
catch a nice array of fish which may including perch, Northern pike, bass, and pan fish.
I will use my expertise to teach you how to become a better fisherman.
So
call or
email me when you're ready to have a fun, safe, and exciting fishing trip on Lake
Bemidji or the surrounding area.
